INTERNSHIPS >

MAPL students Students will complete two required MAPL internships (one for 2 credits and the other for 3 credits) during their enrollment in the MAPL Program. The internships are arranged at the convenience of the sponsoring organization and the student. Internships require at least 45 hours per credit of involvement between the organization and the student. Each internship requires a capstone paper, evaluated by a program faculty member, describing what the student has learned in advocating for policy change. It is expected that students with concentrations will have their second internship with an individual or organization in their concentration field.
