| "The MAPL program considers its enrollees to be both students and co-teachers. Many students brings experiences in the advocacy and political communities; others have experience in a wide range of jobs. Whatever the experiences, we except students to share them with each other and to help each other become effective, ethical advocates. This focus on students as both students and teachers tends to drive MAPL administration and governance. MAPL attempts, as much as possible, to allow students to collectively make the decisions which affect them." |
