Pat McKone has worked with lung health programming for over thirty years. Programs efforts include tobacco cessation, limiting youth access to tobacco, public and school based education as well as advocacy around limiting exposure to second hand smoke, including public housing and is a Master Freedom From Smoking Trainer. Ms. McKone has presented at international, national and state conferences on these issues as well as provides technical assistance to coalitions across the Midwest. She is the recipient of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Champion of Health in 2000 as well as serving on numerous boards and committees working together to reduce the harm and destruction caused by tobacco.
