Kristen McMullen is the co-Founder of United Strategies, a Consulting and Public Affairs firm that provides fundraising, political consulting, government relations, coalition building and campaign services. With over a decade of experience in political fundraising, Kristen McMullen most recently served as Minnesotans United’s finance director, raising $15 million in a record-breaking statewide ballot initiative and lobbying campaign. She got her start in Wisconsin politics, as Finance Director and later serving as Campaign Manager for Congressman Ron Kind (WI-03). After setting fundraising records for Kind and Patty Wetterling’s 2006 campaign, Kristen moved to Washington, D.C. to become the National Director of Candidate Fundraising with the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee raising money and providing fundraising strategy for challenger and incumbent re-election campaigns.
Kristen has a J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
