- Techniques – Poetry and descriptive writing
- Project 1 demonstrating skills in drawing/poetry/descriptive writing
- Camp at Jay Cooke State Park – Group Site #1

Day 2 – Tuesday, June 17 - Split Rock Lighthouse

- Yoga
- Day 1 project critique
- Discussion on how students internalize knowledge, acquire skills, and develop thinking behaviors and how to use drawing, poetry, and descriptive writing to facilitate those abilities, skills, and behaviors.
- Techniques: Pen and Ink Drawing, watercolor washes
- Focus: flowers, leaves, and light-houses

- Discussion – The Expressive arts and teaching science
- Technique: Pen and Ink Drawing, watercolor washes
- Focus: Aquatic Insects and ecosystems
- Planning time for final curriculum project
- Camp at Tettagouche State Park (optional)

Day 3 – Wednesday, June 18 - Tettagouche State Park

- Yoga
- Discussion: Using variety in instructional strategies to promote learning.
- Techniques: Watercolor, story-writing, song writing

- Discussion - The expressive arts across the curriculum
- Project 2 demonstrating skills in pen and ink, watercolor, and writing
- Planning time for final curriculum project
- Camp at Tettagouche State Park (optional)

Day 4 –Thursday, June 19 - Tettagouche State Park
| 8 to noon |
- Yoga
- Project 2 critique
- Project 3 – synthesis of techniques

| 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. |
- Finalize and present final curriculum project
