Matt Nelson (Guitar/vocals) and Dan Olmschenk (Bass/vocals) started playing in a band together called ANS in the spring of 2001. The band eventually broke up around the winter of 2003, at which point Matt and Dan formed an experimental group with a close friend, Zach Frank (Guitar), which they called Silent Floor. Around this same time Matt and Dan also formed another group with another close friend, Preston Jones (Drums). This group was called The Forecast; they played a few rock shows together in the spring of 2004. The Forecast was plagued with cover show offers, and in an effort to play covers in the right way Zach was employed as a second guitarist. After months of jamming and creating, the band finally came into its own as an original band. Eventually End Over End was proclaimed as the name, bringing us to where the band stands today.
