| Marty Sozansky teaches in the Department of Composition at the University of Minnesota Duluth. She holds degrees in journalism (Bachelor of Journalism, University of Missouri) and liberal studies (Master of Liberal Studies, University of Minnesota Duluth). For the past thirty years—during a career primarily in advertising, marketing and brand management—Marty has been trying to answer the question “ What, that we can communicate, will motivate human behavior?” Marty's fairly lengthy list of life goals—which includes many frivolities (“own a Louis Vuitton purse”) and banalities (“keep up with the laundry”)—is headed by “help UMD students improve their written communication skills.” | |
