Welcome to My Homepage
My name is Maggie Muller, I'm a senior at University of Minnesota-Duluth. Majoring in Secondary Education, more specificly Communication Arts and Literature with a minor in Spanish. I hail from a charming little town called Maple Lake. I'm currently enrolled in Dr. McCarthy's Educ 3412 Computers in Education, which is a required course that meets all ISTE standards.

This assignment started the
semester by providing a background of my hardware/software computer
knowledge. Also, I included my personal goals for this course and also
the reasons behind taking this course. |

Using Inspiration software, I
created the perfect computer with everything I want with a computer
system. |

In this assignment, I compared
the similarities and differences between Macintosh and Windows. |
| Inspiration |
This assignment I created a Food
Pyramid so children could match up the appropriate foods to the food
groups. |
| Advanced Word Processing
Assignment |
Word Processing included my fall
'07 schedule, 15 uses for word processing, special characters on
mac-option key and re-typing a word processed paper correctly. |
| Photoshop Assignment |
I used Photoshop to alter
pictures in many different ways, from filtering to erasing parts of
photos. Also, adding color to black and white photos, changing image
size, cookie cutter effect, cloning, gradients and a web photo gallery. |
| Spreadsheet/Excel Assignment |
This assignment included
different versions of a spreadsheet, one was "boring" only including
information, another adding graphics and color, a cover page, 15 uses
for spreadsheets and the original spreadsheet shown as a bar graph. |

I re-created the drawing/pie
chart Dr.
McCarthy handed out in class, on Microsoft Word. |

For this assignment I merged a
letter to student's parents for a choir trip and also a certificate
that was merged for completing this course. |
