The Worksite Health Promotion Group is open to all NACSM student and professional members who have a professional or personal interest in this area. It was formed by board action in spring 2006. The intent is to expand the educational, professional, and networking opportunities for those involved in worksite health promotion. The WHPG is overseen by the members of the ad hoc WHPG Committee. Current co-chairs of the committee are Murray Harber and Mary Kruse.

 

The inagural education activity of this committee, HEALTHIER FOOD OPTIONS FOR THE WORKPLACE, was held April 26, 2007 at the Minnesota Department of Health Snelling Office Park Building. Pdf files of the presentations are now posted.
