Camping Trip (Summer 2005)

Date: June 10-12

Location:

Jay Cooke State Park, Carlton, MN. About a 2 and a half hour drive northeast. All pricing of MN state parks the same. Recommended by Parker, in his experiences with camping from boy scouts thought that this was an excellent campgrounds. It has a lot of hiking paths that go in and out of forest areas also along side the river. Swimming in river, also some paths are paved for roller blading or whatever. Info Jay Cooke State Park

Price:

Reservations fee for every campsite - $8.50

Parking fee - Annual: $25 , Daily: $7

Semi-modern (showers) - $15/night     (optional electric hookup - $4/night)

Food - $20/person (may vary with amount of people)

All these prices added up may vary cause you can fit several people on to one campsite and there of coure is car pooling so these added up are not the total cost of trip. There here to give an idea about costs for trip.

The forums to the left is a place where you can type about camping.
