Western Region Meeting 2003
September 26th and 27th
at
Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center

  The Steeplechase Ski and Snowboard Patrol will be hosting the Western Region Fall Meeting on September 26th and 27th at Eagle Bluff in Lanesboro, MN. We are planning a variety of seminars, speakers, and other activities for the weekend. Click here to view the schedule and course descriptions.
There will be a BBQ and Board of Governors meeting on Friday night at 7pm. This will be a good opportunity to mix with other patrollers and meet the officers for the region.  
  On Saturday there will be a morning meeting and continental breakfast. A variety of activities for the entire family to pick from will be available throughout the day on Saturday. Free volunteer childcare available Saturday 9am-4pm and 5pm-9pm; advance registration is required. Saturday evening will be the awards ceremony and dinner and a pizza and movie party for the kids.  
  If you have never been to the Historic Lanesboro area you won't be disappointed! You will definitely want to bring the whole family and enjoy the weekend in the area. Be sure to visit the city website at www.lanesboro.com. This area has something for everyone from biking on the Root River state trail system, camping, antiques, shopping, Amish tours, golf, or wine tasting to name a few.
Lodging will be available at Eagle Bluff for $40 per room per night. Each room sleeps up to 8 people (no more than 4 adults are recommended per room) and has it's own private bath and shower area. There are a limited number of rooms available, so send in your reservation early!
