HINCKLEY - The WR Awards Committee's 1st meeting of the 2002-3 season
was held on October 2nd. The 1st meeting is dedicated to meeting new members
and review of bylaws for the forthcoming season. Mary Engstrom chairs the
committee consisting of: Section Chiefs, one appointed representative per
section, 3 ARD's, past RD, and RD. The Committee's mission is two
fold: (1) assure "merit" award applications meet the criteria
set forth in the NSP Policy and Procedures manual, and (2) for "outstanding"
awards we select the best application from submissions in each category.
Please note, the Awards Committee does not initiate any awards;
all awards must originate from the patroller level. We invite you
to keep us busy!
