- Coffee Mill hosted a Section 6 Candidate Hill Evaluation with
Steeplechase on Saturday, February 12th. It was a beautiful day at
Coffee Mill with temps in the thawing zone, but the skiing was great!
Wayne Borgen brought 4 candidates from Steeplechase: Jon Streiff, Chuck Bradford, Brad Weiss and Sue O'Hara. Peter Wollan, Jim Weiss and Tim Massaro represented Steeplechase as evaluators.
Coffee Mill had 2 candidates: Anne Hill and Rose Bengal. Testing were Sandy Ilstrup, Theresa Peters and Tom Wieczorek.
Coffee Mill's Wes Van Nurden was in charge of the event and did a great job of organizing and running this event smoothly.
Candidates Anne, Rose, Chuck, and Brad sucsessfully completed the evaluation. NSP and their respective patrols are very pleased to welcome them as qualified basic patrollers.
Following the evaluation we all enjoyed the annual Candidate
