Meet Your Awards Committee (circa 2009-2010)

HINCKLEY - The WR Awards Committee's 3rd meeting of the 2009-10 season was held on May 7th. The 1st meeting of the season (September) is dedicated to meeting new members and review of bylaws for the forthcoming season. The 2nd meeting (March) is dedicated to deciding who from the nominations received, to recommend to Division for the "Outstanding" awards. The 3rd meeting (May) is dedicated to deciding who from the nominations received, to recommend to Division for the Merit Star awards. Tom Gray chairs the committee consisting of: Section Chiefs, one appointed representative per section, ARD's, past RD, and RD. The Committee's mission is two fold: (1) assure "merit" award applications meet the criteria set forth in the NSP Policies and Procedures manual, and (2) for "Outstanding" awards we select the best application from submissions in each category. Please note, the Awards Committee does not initiate any awards; all awards must originate from the patroller level. Please keep us busy!
