Dear Member of the National Ski Patrol,

The 2007 National Ski Patrol Board of Directors election is now open. Please consider this email your notification that you may now vote electronically for your selection of Board members.

With this election, the Board will now for the first time be completely staffed by members selected through elections open to all NSP members. Please take the time to be a part of this important historic NSP milepost by casting your vote.

Sixteen candidates have been nominated to fill four vacancies on the NSP Board of Directors. You will find their complete applications and platform statements on the National web site at the following Member News page address (login is required):

You will also find just the platform statement prepared by each candidate on the ballot. Please note that the nominees' names appear on the National Ski Patrol's web site in alphabetical order and also on the ballot in alphabetical order by last name. You may cast your vote by clicking on the address below or pasting it in your Internet browser.

To log in you will need to provide your 6 digit NSP membership ID number and last name as they appear on your membership card or on the label of your Ski Patrol Magazine.

You may vote for up to four candidates. You must cast your vote no later than midnight (Mountain Time), December 1, 2007.

Not sure who to vote for? If you want to learn more about the candidates prior to casting your vote, you may ask them general questions in the member forums of the NSP website in a new area called "Ask the Candidates". Members are invited to pose questions to the 16 candidates as a group. Questions cannot be addressed to individual candidates on the forum.

If you have an individual question you would like to ask of one or more of the candidates, you will find their email addresses listed and linked to in the candidate information table (linked above) in the Member News area of the NSP website.
