Instructor Activity Log This link brings you directly to the NSP On-line Member Services log-in screen. After logging in, Choose Instructor Activity Log from the Education Tools section. Instructions are provided for entering and viewing your instructor records. The Instructor Activity Log provides a convenient way to maintain and print out your training records, which are a requirement for recertification.
Jones & Bartlett, the publishers of Outdoor Emergency Care, Fourth Edition, have created a Web site called www.OECzone.com to as a companion to the OEC text. Click here to learn all about it. Several significant holdings of resource materials pertaining to the NSP programs have been created within the NSP system of Web sites. The collections are comprised of materials prepared by NSP staff as well as materials submitted by patrollers/instructors from all Divisions of the NSP. You'll find promotional materials, videos, refresher information, lesson plans, course outlines, slide shows, activities, tips and tricks, and much more.

The NSP Member Education link will bring you to the "NSP Member Education" page, which provides access to the NSP Publications, Refresher site, Lending library, Course information, Instructor's Web, Promotional resources, Mountain Awareness Brochure, Ski Patrol Magazine archives, and more.
The NSP Instructor Web link will bring you to the official collection of NSP educational materials which have been reviewed and approved for posting by NSP staff.
NSP has replaced the Phase I and Phase II courses with Instructor Development and a certification procedure for apprentice instructors, which involves mentoring with a seasoned, NSP-certified instructor, concluded with an observation by an NSP Instructor Trainer. The Guide to Mentoring New Instructors link will display the NSP Guide to Mentoring New Instructors Manual (pdf format.)
NSP maintains a lending library of videos and other education materials for the benefit of the membership. Inside the NSP Lending Library link you’ll find a wealth of information for your area, regional, or divisional training programs.
The NSP Safety Information link will bring you to set of valuable safety resources and articles compiled by the NSP relating to backcountry travel, dressing properly for cold weather, helmets, and much more.
The Archive of Ski Patrol Magazine Articles contains reprints of selected articles published over the years in Ski Patrol Magazine.
In addition to these collections, an additional resource is the product of a cooperative effort between the NSP and Jones & Bartlett Publishers (the publishers of our OEC 3^rd and 4^th Editions.) This independent Web site describes college and professional-level text books and training manuals published by Jones & Bartlett.
Finally, a number of Patrols affiliated with the NSP have established well-respected courses related to ski patrolling, OEC, avalanche, winter safety, and SAR. These Patrols maintain independent Web sites containing supporting material for their programs. Some are listed below. (Copyright restrictions apply to course materials presented on these sites.)
