The lower house of parliament is the Dáil Éireann (Assembly of Ireland). The upper house is Seanad Éireann (Senate of Ireland)
Uachtarán = President
Taoiseach (cheiftan) is the equivalent of Prime Minsiter and is the deputy is the Tánaiste (successor)
TD = Teachtaí Dála (Dáil Deputies)
