• Quantum-chemical software for lab
  • Calculations for the following labs require WebMO:
    • H and He, atomic DFT calculations
    • polyene dyes, for configuration interaction calculations
    Before the first time you use WebMO, work through the short introductory WebMO tutorial.
  • Calculations for the following labs are written for Spartan:
    • CO rotation and vibration
    • SO₂ vibrations
    • CO₂ and CS₂ vibrations
    The calculations are designed for the student P Chem edition of Spartan but can also be done with Spartan 06 or even with Gamess under WebMO.
• Material Safety Data Sheets for laboratory reagents that are used in the experiments this semester.
