Paul Treuer received his BA in Philosophy from the University of Minnesota in 1969 and his MS in Biology/Biochemistry from the University of Minnesota in 1979. He is an Associate Professor in UMD's Supportive Services Program. He is currently a Special Project Associate working on an Enterprise System Project to develop and implement electronic learning portfolios at the University of Minnesota Duluth. He is also working on the Open Source Portfolio Initiative
