Assignment

In this lab, you should work through and read the material from page INT 1.1 to INT 1.75 in your Microsoft Office XP: Introductory Concepts and Techniques text. Much of this can be done outside of lab. Be aware that terms from this reading may appear on an exam – know the proper names of the elements of the Windows 2000 and Office XP GUI.

On pages INT 1.78 through INT 1.80, you’ll find In the Lab #2: Windows Explorer and #3: Using Windows Help. Work through these two exercises, while following these instructions:

1. Please create a Microsoft Word document that you’ll turn in with written answers you’ve obtained from these exercises.
2. Create a cover sheet for your lab that has your name, this course, the term, the lab (and its number), the lab title, and the lab due date. Use this cover sheet as a guide for creating cover sheets for ALL future lab assignments.
3. Work through all questions (unless otherwise noted here) and put answers to those that you’re requested to answer in your lab write-up.
