SHARING A MORAL UNIVERSE IN DEVELOPMENT AND HUMAN RIGHTS DISCOURSE

ABSTRACT

Write an article about being in the same moral universe as a theme running through development and human rights discussions. The key is that we see others as being part of our universe. For development, we see (e.g.) peasants as subjects and not objects of development. For human rights, we see people beyond ourselves as having something to say.
