STEVE CHILTON'S HOME PAGE

Welcome! I am a political scientist in the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Minnesota Duluth, concentrating in political theory, mostly European political theory, of which mostly postmodern / progressive / neo-Marxist theory, of which mostly Frankfurt School / Critical Theory, of which mostly Jürgen Habermas, of which mostly Discourse Ethics. My main interest is the "ways of relating perspective" — an account of intrapersonal authenticity (ethics), interpersonal morality, and system relationships (i.e., social justice) arising from a multiple personality view of human cognition and empathy.  Miscellaneous other intellectual interests appear here.
