My research interests are in the use of environmental perception and behavior. I focus on spatial cognition in children and adults, with particular interest in the understanding of locatives, spatial knowledge acquired from maps, from the environment, and from narrative, and the influences that pattern or structure of the environment have on spatial knowledge acquisition.
