This first song about lust was quite interesting to me. It really brought out some of my thoughts of what's happenin' in today's society, and I will share. What has happened to marriage these days?---it seems a majority of couples break up over time....What changes in our society have led to this occurrence? Is it tv, flim, art, music--I think it is a result of all those things combined--it seems as this century moves on, things get more and more complicated, confused. I believe that love is very hard to find in today's society-at least lasting, trusting, faithful love. I have come to the conclusion that I will be lucky to fall in love again, its hard to trust and open yourself up again after a relationship dies out. This song I think plays on that thought, and suggests that there can be joy, happiness, satisfaction, in acts of lust, in that true love is hard to come by--and it takes so many years. With all the changes in this modern society, its hard not to change to. People change, and maybe marriage is kind of a lottery these day--ill explain--finding your soul mate is like winning the 10million dollar lottery....Many people try this, but fail.or win for a while and end up blowing thier cash, losing interest in life itself, changing of lifestyles, values...but, acts of lust are instantly gratifying, and much more frequently happening, like the $1 lottery games...The stakes are not as high, but hell, maybe you win a $1000 ticket----maybe one of those is just as good as one can expect these days. Is there hope?
