After reading the two texts of the Darwin and Marx, I believe that the two differnertiate from each other greatly. However both of them represent different revolutions of their time. marx with the communist revolution and Darwin with the progression of man revolution. Both of these revolutins tie in with the movie "The French Lieutenants Woman" and the revolutin of human progession that goes on in the film. I believe that Marx was wxtremely wrong in the communist manifesto. The piece by Marx theororizes the fact that all men are not only created equal but no mater what, they will always be equal. I strongly disagree with this notion. Ibelieve that the more we compete against each other, the better race we will become. If I as an individual have no inspiriation to be better than Joe Schmo, then I have no reason to get a better grades than him por apply myself more. THis is the difference with the Darwin theory, in which I will want to do better just so I can reproduce better, and the stronger survive and the weaker do not.
