The need of an individual to feel it's worth does rely on the nurturing the individual received from it's community. Parents, friends, and others who sre shapers of the person's worth, soul, and as well providers of necessities.
Frankenstein did not provide for his creation. He did not give him instructions on life. He did not provide him company and instead took his own company from the creature. He in turn was hunted by the creature and denied the continuous of his own community in his family and friends. This left nothing for both of them, creature and creation bringing them to the frozen north there they both met their deaths.
Man was not meant to only idealize his individuality. He was meant to use his individuality to preceive, accomplish, and carry out great deeds for and concerning other individuals in a community. Without community, we would not be able to flourish and would soon perish. Community gives us the strength and the endurance to maintain life and in that life grasp our own individuality within the community. Home, heath, and fellow beings such as family and friends give us the substain to life and in that sense of community, we are nurtured.
