I also can relate to the numerous ways there are to "get high", all having a different type of high evoked. I can relate to the type of high Jeff was talking about. It occured last spring in Las Vegas when I conquered my fear of heights by riding the projector seat on top of the Statosphere (the second highest building in the U.S. I was told). I just expirienced my lastest favorite high at the Dave Mathews Show, a 1600 person venue, this weekend. There are so many assortments of the feeling of being high. I will say though, one of my favorites is the high I expirience from the mixture of pot and music, enjoying it with a clear mind, hanging out solo and just soaking it all in. My ears pick up the millions of notes, chords, just the harmony and tone of it all, more so than when I'm sober. Nothing beats the feeling of groking, and truely groking a song in it's entirety. I can't imagine what my life would be like without music in it. Dick Clark said "music is the time line of your life." Is it not? I can hear a song and specifically rememeber, and at times feel the emotion that was going through me at the time of listening to it. Of course there was Milli Vanilli or Goerge Michael which brought me back to the roller skating rink in fifth grade. And there are the songs that trigger my memory to remember my first boyfriend, first kiss, first heatbreak. I can always remember not only what the times were like but how I felt living those years and even minutes. Music is a truely magical gift to be appreciated. It is my favorite high, sober or stoned. I just tend to like it better while listening in good health. Take care and tune in.
