One thing I've found that puts my in a whole another realm with out the use of controlled substances is sports. When you step out on to a playing field, be it football, basketball, hockey, or any other sport, you become totally immersed in the game. To me this is like a whole different reality. Nothing else matters except what you are playing. For me, I play rugby. This is an incredible adrenilin rush. It's just you and 14 other guys with one goal, to score points. Jeff and others have mentioned some very interesting ways to become "high" with out the use of drugs and I think that these all feel purer to me than using such substances as LSD which is synthetic. Also the use of cocaine and the supposed inner peace it brings you, to me doesn't compare to the inner peace I feel out on the rugby feild. You and your teammates are out their together concentrating on one goal. I feel totally at peace during a rugby match with no other distractions. I believe the purest and best feeling "highs" are not inducded by taking drugs, but rather by doing something that brings you there more naturally.
