To me, the most interesting thing about the movie "The Big Chill" is the fact that it takes a tragedy such as a suicide to bring together old college friends. Watching this movie really made me think about where me and all my close friends from college will be in ten, twenty, or thirty years. Will it be something as tragic as a suicide that brings us back together? All the memories the characters in The Big Chill shared and yet they still don't see each other very often and don't really even stay in touch. Right now, the way I feel is that I will stay close with my college buddies for ever, but watching this movie really made me think about this. The other thing I wonder about is, will I get together and smoke marijuana with my friends later on in life? That is something I can't really picture, but who knows.
