Drugs and music don't always mix. I guess it depends on alot of things, what drugs, how much, how many, etc. but from my experiences I like to see concerts in a "sober" state. I've been to different shows on different drugs and I've found that at the time I was having a kick ass time but my mind was elsewhere. It wasn't a bad trip but I just didn't see the music in a way that I wanted to. Another problem with drugs at shows is you get so fucked up sometimes, you still have a kickass time at the show but then you can't remember shit (this has happened to me a few too many times). The best show that I went to last summer, I was not under the influence of anything and it was awesome. It was at a Bob Dylan show and i could actually concentrate on the music and I remember everything about the show. I guess what I'm trying to say is that as long as I don't get too fucked up and enjoy certain drugs in minimal amounts, that is when I'll have the best time.
