First of all, I would like to defend Bill Clinton. I'm sure there are a ton of people out there who disagree with what I am about to write, and that's just fine. I don't care is you disagree with me, that doesn't concern me. I just think that it's about time SOMEONE sticks of for our president. I would like to point out that WE are the people who elected this man. I know some of the people in this class weren't old enough to vote in this election, but many of us were. If you didn't vote for Bill you can ignore me, but if you did listen up! Okay maybe we didn't know before he was elected that Bill "got around," but obviously there was something we liked about him, he must have possessed some fine qualities, or he wouldn't have won that election. So take a minute to think about all of the good things he's done. He's not some evil, sex-crazy, pervert. And another thing is, how does anyone know these stories are true? How many of you has Bill told personally that these things really happened? There may be evidence, but I'm not convinced. Leave the poor guy alone. Every other man I know cheers when he has sex with more than one woman. So why is everyone booing Bill? Just because he's the president? I do believe that the person who runs this country should have sound morals, but I really don't think Bill is an immoral person no matter how many women he slept with. And even if he did sleep with a few women, does that mean he's going to start an unnecessary war, or harm the well-being of America? I don't think so. So let's everyone get off his back for awhile. The next thing I want to address from Ryan's message, is this thing about Americans not valuing anything because we have everything. There are many underprivelaged Americans. However,I consider myself a privelaged American. I am a very lucky person, as we all are because we can afford to go to college and get an education (excuse me, I mean EARN an education, I don't think we're given anything in life, except life itself of course, but that's another topic). But just because I am a well-off person doesn't mean that I don't value anything. There are many things in life that I am thankful for and I've learned to stop taking things for granted. There are a lot of greedy, unthankful, selfish, just plain mean people in this world. But I trully believe that there are also people who do give a shit. And I believe I am one of those people (and I believe you guys are all one of these people too). And I believe that without them we are doomed.
