What this commentary is about is music. The evocation of emotion through this happy medium. I want to comment on this because so few people really listen to music. I'm not talking about paying attention to the lyrics. Not at all. The lyrics are probably the farthest thing from the point. Any musician worth his salt should be able to convey messages without words.
When was the last time you got goose bumps from music, if ever? If you haven't ever gotten high off music than maybe you need some help. Lauryl wrote a very good commentary about listening. She said that tokin' helped to open her up to the full effect of the music. That's no joke. Smokin' grass is proven to heighten hearing perceptions. So if music has never made you laugh, cry, or get nuts you should start looking for some help. Also if you have become desensitized to some music because of heavy rotation. Sit down get stoned and just listen. Just listen. It sounds very simple to just listen. But man it really isn't. I know tons of people who have never listened to music. Have you?
