I DEFINITELY listen to the music. There are times when I get completely emotional about it. Sometimes I feel like the song was written just for me because it closely relate to what's going on in my life and expresses how I feel. I can't imagine going through life without it. It taps into the soul and brings out so many feelings, some that you never really knew were there. I like every kind of music, but it is so cool because everyone has at least one style of music that they like and can somehow relate to. In each stlye, the message are there, you just have to listen.

I haven't 'toked up while listening to music. I can't imagine what I'd be like it I did, I get affected by it enough when I'm just drinking or totally sober! I don't know that I agree that smokin up enhances your listening ability. It's all really about perception and whatever state you perceive things best, GO FOR IT! Get lost in the music and let it take you away!
