This fall the UMD Theatre Department is presenting a production
of
The (curious case of the) Watson Intelligence, written by
Madeleine George and directed by Jenna Soleo-Shanks. The play deals
with artificial intelligence and the relationship(s) between
humans and technology.
Students can earn up to 15 points extra credit in CS 3111 by attending
a performance and writing an essay about it. The performance schedule
is shown below. All performances are in the Dudley Experimental
Theatre.

The Tuesday, Dec. 1 performance is a "2-for-1" night (buy one ticket get one free).
That performance will also include an "audience talkback"
after the show. Prof. Colburn and Prof. Ted Pedersen will be
part of the talkback.
To obtain extra credit, email Prof. Colburn after you have attended the
show. You will then receive instructions on the content and submission
of your essay.
