UMD teamed up with the TC
Amazons yet lost to the MN U23. UMD players that played for the squad were
Cassie Karp, Laron Ploederer, Tiffany Gjestvang, Kari ‘Gari’ Nicolai,
Brittany ‘B-rod’ Schaefer, Laura ‘Greens’ Greenlee, and Elyse
Dornhecker. Nicely done ladies!

The weather was insane, with
rain coming sideways and wind that cut straight to the bone. But that is DWRC and we showed the UofM
that. We dominated play and although
the U scored first, Duluth answered back quickly with a try. The U had fast backs, but Duluth kept the
ball in tight with the pack and dominated possession, limiting the U to tired
forwards and poor backline passes.
