Ashley Brown
VP of Academic Affairs
Junior

"I find being a student leader is a great asset to not only myself but also to the University. To me, being a part of change on my campus is a huge honor. In addition to the qualities, I also enjoy being highly active within Duluth. I have been in SA for three years, and I have met so many people who possess excelling qualities."

Jason Wittrock
Junior

"I wanted to be more involved with UMD's operations, and decisions. I also wanted to be a part of something that would make a difference for UMD students, especially with issues that students are confronted with academically."

Katie Best
Junior

"I want to be the student voice and help others. I also love to know what's going on. I love making academics more student friendly to break down the bureaucracy"

Jamie Ebert
Junior

"I wanted to get involved in SA to become a part of what is happening on campus. SA is important to me because it keeps me connected and involved."

Josh Gillson
Sophomore

"Being involved and taking an active role in decision making to better represent students and their concerns. I have always tried to be as active as I can in anything I do. Students need a voice, and I am here to help."

Kaylee Timbers
Junior

"I joined SA to help make this campus a more student friendly place and to help students hear about what is going on around campus. This organization has shown me just how much a single student can make a difference around campus; seeing that it just drives me more to let out my voice and hopefully show others that they can be heard also. "

Jeni Kiewatt
Senior

"SA is important to me because it is my way to give back to the UMD community. I also wanted a way to get involved in the UMD community and this is a way for me to do that. Also, I apparently hate free time."
