Hello Wild Ones,

Please note that we are postponing our outing with Tom Kasper until our June 23 meeting, as Tom will be on TV (Great Gardening on PBS 8) this week.

Because of this development, we are hoping that everyone will shift gears and meet at the community garden site in Leif Erickson Park and help with weeding and planning for the garden. We'll meet at 6:00PM (or come any time), Wednesday, May 25th; feel free to bring along gloves and tools.

Also, as new members of the Duluth Garden Flower Society we can participate in the annual DGFS sale at the parking lot at Leif Erickson Rose Garden this Saturday, May 28, beginning at 8 a.m. Paul Hlina has generously donated plants from Leaning Pine for WO to sell and keep the profits, and we hope that others of you will be dividing and adding your plants to the sale. Please bring any donations to Carol Andrews' house at 1615 E. 7th Street (white house with native gardens on the hill in front) and either leave them by the front porch or back door by Friday evening. Anyone who would like to help with the sale, please call Carol (730-9954) to volunteer from 7 a.m. to about 10 a.m.. Or just come and buy! See you Wednesday!
