Hello and Happy Spring!

MARCH MEETING
Apoligies for getting the info on the March meeting out so late, but here's the deal: a little bird suggested that instead of having a big program in March we should just try to have a meeting of folks interested in working on the Hartley Nature Trail project this month.
>> For those of you that have been helping out on this so far or are interested in getting involved, would you be interested in meeting on Wednesday March 28? if so, would 6 - 7:30 or a little later start time work best for you? Location would be at Hartley. Cindy - I did receive the pdf you sent w/ the start on the brochure. it looks like a great start - let's discuss it at a meeting.

APRIL brings (hopefully) showers to help May flowers and ease the drought AND a great presentation on GLOBAL WARMING by John Pastor. John will speak at 7:00 on April 25 at Hartley Nature Center. More details to follow.

Other news of the wierd - no, I mean GOOD NEWS: Tom Kasper called me a week or two back to report that a sign for our community garden at Leif Erikson Park has indeed been painted and will be ready to install this year. The city will coordinate with us regarding location before installing it.

Too bad the xc ski season was so short (but sweet while it lasted) but I'm looking forward now to a great Spring. All for now.
