I plan to set up our Wild Ones display along w/ some plants I've borrowed from Paul Hlina at the Watershed Festival this Saturday, June 2, from 10 to 3:00 at KMart in Hermantown. I can be there all day, but it would be fun if someone else would like to join me and give me a break. In particular I could use help from 11:45 to 12:45 during which time I will be doing a workshop on rain gardens. This is a great opportunity to reach a different crowd that we typically meet at Harvest fest and Earth Day. Just write or call (730-9954) if you're interested in joining me.

The next official chapter event will be the 4th Wednesday of the month which must be June 27 if I'm doing the math correctly in my head (no calendar handy at the moment). I need to reconfirm this with them and get directions to pass along, but the tentative plan is to do "show me/help me" yard tours at Cathy and Clayton's homes in Duluth. Rumor has it Clayton will be offering pie for dessert at the end of the tour. Please stay tuned for more details.
