UMD, Wild Ones and others are holding a workshop next Wednesday Oct. 17 to get the word out about invasive exotic species like buckthorn (big bad weeds!). It should be a great opportunity to share information with the community about what alien plants, trees and shrubs to look out for, as well as a chance to do some networking to coordinate on area projects aimed at controlling invasive plants. Please forward this to anyone you think may be interested. Hope to see you there!
What's so BAD about BUCKTHORN?
What's so LOUSY about LOOSETRIFE?
