• Kinnan Stauber, chair of the Park Point Environmental Committee, will accompany us on a hike and have plant checklists for us. The checklist was compiled from a survey of Minnesota Point made by Gary Walton for the Minnesota Point Environmental Management Plan. On our two-hour hike we will check out the plants of Park Point, a unique habitat that differs from most of the rest of the Arrowhead region (for starters, it's sandy!).
  
  The hike will be followed by a short but important meeting at Evelyn and Alden's house. The main agenda item for the meeting will be election of officers.
