• "Wildflowers of Jay Cooke State Park", led by Larry Weber (co-sponsored by Hartley Nature Center). Jay Cooke is known for its carpets of wildflowers each spring. Join Larry Weber, author of "Backyard Almanac" and "Butterflies of the Northwoods," to see trillium, trout lily, and many others. Meet at the parking area at the main park building in Jay Cooke State Park. (State park sticker is required.) Wear comfortable walking shoes. Free to members of Wild Ones and Hartley Nature Center. Non-members: $5 person/$10 per family.
