AGENDA:
Arrowhead Chapter of Wild Ones proclaims spring IS coming and we’re all anxious for new things to start emerging from the frozen depths. What do you know about native sedges and grasses? On March 23, 7 p.m., Ethan Perry will be helping us identify the differences between the two. What are the benefits of these plants to our native wildlife? Which will add winter interest to our landscape? If you need erosion control, you will want to learn more about the amazing root systems of these plants.
We’ll also be handing out catalogs for Wild Ones member group orders on native plants, grasses, trees, and bushes. We’ll be placing the order in April.
Our March meeting place will be at the Hartley Nature Center. The business meeting starts at 6:30 p.m., with the program beginning at 7:00 p.m. Cost to Hartley and Wild Ones members is free; guests are asked to contribute $4.00 to Hartley Nature Center. Questions? Call Carol at 730-9954. Hope to see you there!
Everyone is welcome.
