Hidden Garden/Cemetery Tour.
Wild Ones will be taking a trip to Chambers Grove Park with
Tom Kasper as our guide. Chambers Grove is the oldest park (Tom’s an
expert on the history of Duluth’s parks) with an old cemetery near by,
and what better place to look for native plants?
Meet at 6 p.m. at the park: drive west on Hwy 23 through Gary. Hwy 23 becomes a four-lane, divided highway. As you enter Fond du Lac, Hwy 23 becomes a two-lane roadway again. Just beyond the intersection with Hwy. 210, and just before the bridge, turn in at the Chambers Grove Park sign. map
