SELLERS OF NATIVE PLANTS WITHIN 200 MILES OF DULUTH
Prepared by Wild Ones Natural Landscapers, Arrowhead Chapter
April 2007
If you know of a reputable source of native plants that are native to this area that is not included in this list, we encourage you to let us know by contacting Carol at 218/727-9340.
Please note that to protect native plants growing in the wild it is important to make sure that you do not buy plants from someone who has illegally collected them from the wild. A plant seller should be able to tell you whether their plants were nursery-propagated. If you find evidence that a plant appears to not be nursery-propagated (for example, the soil immediately around the plant roots differs from the rest of the soil in the pot), please let us at Wild Ones know. Similarly, do not collect plants from the wild except on your own property or other private property with the owner’s permission.
