The Show Must Go On

Auditions were in May, about three months into the COVID-19 pandemic. Theatre students had no idea if they’d be able to perform “Henry V.” Enter from stage left a director with a vision, a cast and crew with gumption, and an audience hungry for the arts– all outdoors.

Jacob Nelson, who plays King Henry, is loving the accessibility of what he calls a “very different type of theatre,” despite having to rely on his unmasked eyebrows for His Majesty’s expressions. “Grow where you're planted,” he says, adding that he’ll be a stronger actor in the end.
