COVID-19 & Fall 2021
The University of Minnesota System, which includes the University of Minnesota Duluth, plans to resume many more in-person classes and activities for Fall 2021. Please click here to access UMD's COVID-19 Updates.
International student orientation is scheduled for August 23-26 for undergraduate students, and August 27 for graduate students. Due to COVID-19 orientation will likely be offered in a hybrid model, with some activities being offered in person and some being offered remotely. We will continue to provide updates as fall gets closer. New international students who are starting their semester in the United States are required to attend.
ISS Pick Up Service
If you would like to be picked up at the airport or bus stop in Duluth, please let us know at least three weeks in advance by emailing us at email@example.com with your travel details, including arrival time and location.
We recommend that new undergraduate students who will live on-campus arrive on Sunday, August 22.
Important note: We will monitor the COVID-19 situation as your arrival gets closer. Depending on case numbers we may have a limited number of pick ups available. Please continue to submit your requests and we will follow up with you when we have more information. We will follow up with you to confirm if we are able to offer pick up service or not. If we are not able to pick you up we will provide information about other transportation options you can use once you arrive in Duluth.
