Health services and social services probably need to be subcategories of this segment of the assessment. You may need to include assessment of those services outside the community as well, especially for rural communities.

Consider the structure (what types of services), and the process (how accessible).

1. Where do members of the community obtain their prescriptions?
2. Who in the community are the informal health care "consultants", offering advise, education, and opinions?
3. How many families are enrolled in the WIC program and where do they pick up their vouchers?

Some rural (frontier) regions do not have phone accessibility. Some counties don't even have dental services.
