"LEND A PAW"
UMD Department of Art & Design Assistant Professor David Short's Senior Design Studio II class (section 2) at the University of Minnesota Duluth is proud to present an exciting online fundraiser. As well as a Redbubble shop and GoFundMe, they have created a virtual exhibition featuring a variety of student-made artwork. Just like attending a normal exhibition, visitors can walk around and view all works at their leisure. Every piece in the exhibition is inspired by the success story of a rescue pet.
As part of this class, section 2 is raising money for the Humane Society of Douglas County via an online exhibition "LEND A PAW", which goes live on April 10th and continues through May 5th.
Additionally, we have a Redbubble shop featuring a variety of products such as stickers, mugs, and shirts. All purchases go towards this fundraiser.
The Humane Society of Douglas County works tirelessly to find homes for every rescue that comes through their doors. They believe that every animal deserves a loving home. Unfortunately, even the cutest dogs and cats aren’t ready to be adopted without some assistance first. Due to this, the Humane Society of Douglas County harbors a variety of costs to give these beautiful animals a pep back in their step!
Especially now, during these trying times, any amount of money can mean a world of difference to local businesses. Even if you’re not ready to be a pet owner, your contribution to the "LEND A PAW" online exhibition fundraiser can help an animal in need to find a best friend for life and contributes to feeding, medical treatment, and housing until they find permanent homes.
