Crockpots and Microwaves: Thriving as an Introvert in an Extroverted Profession
Are you a crockpot or a microwave? Learn from two crockpots—introverts—how to thrive in the microwave, or extroverted, world of student affairs.  “E”s and “I”s are both invited to learn what it really means to be an introvert; how to make your department more “I”-friendly for staff and students alike; and where introverts can shine within student affairs.

Writing Your Assessment Story
An assessment story should read like a good mystery book. This means it has to have a lead character (the one who wants to know) who is accompanied by a cast of characters (students, staff, faculty, departments, stakeholders, etc.). It must have a good plot (what is happening and why) and it has to have an ending (what was learned and what happens next) that completes the story. This methodology can be used to demystify assessment! Dr. Erwin will be sharing this presentation from the recent NASPA conference, in which she was one of three presenters.
